Two of the NHL’s top teams squared off in St. Louis last night as the Blues hosted the Boston Bruins. And while everyone knows that these two teams can play hockey, we also learned that they can be quite effective when it comes to dropping the gloves and engaging in some fisticuffs as well.
Stepping up to prove such a point was Adam McQuaid and B.J. Crombeen, as they wasted little time and went toe-to-toe less than three minutes into the game. Much like the game, the bout was also a back-and-forth contest. In the end, the Bruins would win the game. As for the fight, we’d hate to have to pick a winner, so we won’t. Instead, we’ll simply award both combatants with a spot on the “Frozen Fisticuffs Fight of the Night” for Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
