A few weeks back it was announced that Wrestlemania 28 will be held at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on Sunday, April 1. Only 4 matches officially scheduled so far (the main event being John Cena vs. The Rock) but this is the WWE, so you know there will be tons of surprises.
One of the most awesome rumors floating around out there on the intertubes is that the one, the only, Shaquille O’Neal, will be taking part in a throwdown against Big Show. Who started this rumor? Shaq, obviously. And WWE is emphatically denying it, which means it’s almost certainly true.
Of course, pro athletes have always had a penchant for hopping over the ropes and into the wrestling ring. Big Show vs. Big Aristotle would just be the latest (and possibly greatest) example. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait another 33 days to find out if this actually goes down.
