The Professional Bowlers Association’s U.S. Open came down to the final shot of the tournament. And with it, Pete Weber required a strike, and only a strike, in order to beat Mike Fagan and become both the oldest winner and the first ever five-time winner of the tournament. Needless to say, he would record that strike and accomplish each of those feats. But while those are quite the accomplishments for the 49-year-old veteran of the game, is it really enough of a reason to begin yelling things like “God Dammit Yes!” and “Who do you think you are? I am!” to the crowd? On second thought, is there ever really a reason to be yelling such things to a crowd?
For Weber, the answer to that question is an emphatic “God Dammit, Yes!”
Check it out.
