The Reason: The Tampa Bay Rays have gone over the total in five of their last six, while the Jays have gone over in each of their last five games. These two teams have gone over the total in six of their last eight meetings, and in each of their last five meetings in Toronto. The total surpassed nine in each of Jeremy Hellickson’s two starts against the Jays last season, while Toronto starter Henderson Alvarez allowed four runs in six innings during his only start against the Rays. Both teams have been putting up runs, and giving them up as well. Look for that to continue tonight, as this game goes over the total.
The Game: Boston Bruins @ Washington Capitals
The Reason: The Bruins escaped with an important 4-3 victory during Game 3 in Washington, as they have now won four of their last five games overall, and each of their last five games on the road. The Bruins actually managed to record more wins on the road this season (25), than at home (24). As for the Caps, they will be without the services of Nicklas Backstrom following a questionable suspension. With the Capitals already struggling to score goals, that loss may be too much for them to overcome, as we expect the Bruins to come away with the Game 4 victory tonight.
